Highfield is 4 miles directly north of Barnstaple - half way between Barnstaple and Ilfracombe on the map, in the parish of Marwood, famous for Marwood Hill Gardens which are a delight at any time of year.

From Barnstaple, take the A39 Lynton road, but before leaving the town turn left at the traffic lights opposite the petrol station.  After 150 yards turn right into Abbey Road.

At the next T junction turn left and follow this road out into the country (approx 3 miles).  Go through Prixford (Ring O Bells - local pub with food) and turn right at Guineaford cross road.

Highfield is 100 yards on the left.

There is ample parking space beyond the driveway.  Please call at the Red Door at the far side of the house via road to collect your keys and a warm welcome.
